The story of Genimax: where innovation meets adventure
Genimax's origins date back to 2017, in the magnificent Quebec City region. Maxime Cantin, an engineer and outdoor enthusiast, dreamed of going on an adventure with his family, freely and without constraints.
While exploring the solutions available on the market, he quickly realized that the existing trailers were not suited to his needs: too heavy for his compact car or simply too expensive.

An inspiration
coming from the past
Determined to find a solution, Maxime drew inspiration from the lightweight and practical teardrop trailers of the 1930s. He then set about designing a caravan adapted to his needs: compact, functional, and comfortable for his family.
In 2017, the ancestor of the Genimax TD was born in his workshop. This ingenious prototype quickly attracted the attention of outdoor enthusiasts, captivated by its innovative design.

From individual ingenuity to a shared vision
Word of mouth transformed this personal project into a real business opportunity. Requests poured in: minimalist campers, families, and adventurers were looking for a turnkey solution. Maxime realized he was filling an untapped need.
In 2022, the Genimax adventure took on new impetus with the arrival of Rémy Genois, an industrial manufacturing expert and camping enthusiast. Together, they met growing demand while remaining true to the brand's values: simplicity, innovation, and lightness. Their partnership led to the opening of the first manufacturing workshop in Saint-Raymond, marking a new era.
First production model (2020)
Growing success
Two years later, in 2024, to better meet the needs of their customers, the team moved to Donnacona, to a more spacious and efficient workshop. Today, Roulottes Genimax is recognized for its growing success and its commitment to innovation to offer lightweight, practical, and affordable camping solutions.

Each Genimax caravan tells a story—one of roads traveled, landscapes discovered, and precious moments shared as a family. Maxime and Rémy, proud of their journey, continue to look toward the future with enthusiasm, ready to take on new challenges to make outdoor adventure an experience accessible to all.
